Moisturizers keeps the skin smooth, supple, and young. Moisturizers, as the name suggests, keeps water locked in the skin and helps keep it hydrated. Many moisturizers you find on the shelves contain many chemicals and other active agents that can cause irritation to the skin, especially for those with sensitive skin. Below are simple procedure on how to make moisturising cream at home.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup E-wax
  • 1 cup Stearic acid
  • 1cup Coconut oil
  • 1cup Shea butter
  • 1 cup Coco butter
  • 1kg Paraffin Oil
  • 100g Paraffin wax
  • 1kg Petroleum jelly
  • 30ml Vitamin E
  • Perfume (optional)
  • 1 liter Water

PROCEDURE

  1. In a double boiler, melt e-wax, stearic acid, coconut oil, shea butter and coco butter.
  2. In another double boiler, melt paraffin oil, paraffin wax and petroleum jelly (let it cool for 5 minutes).
  3. Add to first mixture and mix properly using hand mixer until it becomes creamy.
  4. Boil water, let it cool, add gradually while you mix until it gives cremmy texture.
  5. Add vitamin E and perfume.

      You dont need to boil it

    Are we going to use the whole 1 liter of water to mix the moisturizing cream?
