- 12 Avocados
PROCEDURE
- Wash the avocados and cut into 2-equal halves.
- Use a spoon to scoop out the fruit of the avocado and blend till it forms a paste.
- Place the blended Avodaco in a pot and cook on medium heat, stirring every 5mins.
- Cook until the avocado changes from a light green to a dark green or brown and the water has evaporated.
- Place a clean, cheese cloth around the rim of a bowl.
- Turn in the cooked mixture and pinch the corners of the cloth together so that you are left the cloth of avocado.
- Squeeze to strain the cloth of avocado over a bowl to strain out the oil.
- Squeeze till no oil comes again.
- Pour the oil in a container.
- Your avocado oil is ready for use.
